We have so many exciting things going at Dolce Baci!

We have been extremely busy preparing for the release of our Spring collection. It is funny how you start out with an idea and end up with something completely different and much more fabulous in the end. Many of you may already know by the post on Facebook we are adding a women's line...we are so excited and nervous all at the same time! We have had so many requests for women's clothing so we thought now is the time...we will start out small and slowly add to the collection. We are so excited about the new collection and can't wait to share it with you...watch for sneak peeks coming soon!

On a different note we are soooo excited to welcome Colleen and Janine to our team!

We are expanding our team and making changes that will only better our company. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service and unique apparel that is beautifully made for you and and your little ones to treasure.

No more waiting...who wants to wait for 1-2 weeks for there order to be shipped?? Not me...we will be updating our website at some point this weekend. Everything listed on our website will be in stock and ready to ship! This is wear Colleen comes in...she is a fabulous seamstress who will be helping us create all of our items so they will be ready to ship. We will be updating our inventory weekly as new pieces are created. You can watch for inventory updates on our blog as well as Facebook. This means you place an order...we pull the items, wrap it beautifully and ship it!

Janine, Janine, Janine...she will be assisting us with all the fun office stuff:) She is a quiz at the computer and will be helping us get all our paper stuff in order. She will also help with inventory updates, emails and many other tasks. You will soon notice changes in many things from as little as our packaging to eventually our website! This can all be very time consuming and I would much rather focus my efforts on creating new pieces for you:)

Now onto some really good stuff...I was so excited to find out that I had won a necklace from Heather at Angel Face Designs!

I was given a hand stamped sterling silver name necklace similar to the one above only with my boys names and birthstones and let me tell you it is gorgeous!! I get so many compliments on it everywhere I go and my boys were so amazed to see that the necklace had their names on it.

Let's talk about customer service... Not only did I win the necklace but she hand delivered it to me in a beautiful package at the Lodi Street Faire. Without her computer that is!

I sat down at my desk with my cup of coffee in hand to read my emails as I do every morning. Except when I went to turn on the computer it didn't do anything other than make a lot of strange noises. So with that said I am having computer problems...it is at the computer doctor as we speak and I am just praying that all my photos will be saved! I had to wait all day for my husband to get home so I could use his laptop to check my emails and make this post. I know I was going to post about an amazing jewelry designer but I am going to wait...why because what's a post without photos of her fabulous work and I can't get to the photos without my computer. Oh what a mess...

That also puts a delay on updating our website with the Fall 2009 Collection. Hopefully I will get some good news tomorrow regarding my computer.

Well I'm off to work on orders...

Wow I am so excited to see how well our new Emme Collection is doing.

So I tried to post this yesterday...but nothing was making sense. I came down with the worst head cold Saturday night and I haven't been able to think straight since. I have never had such a bad cold where I am totally disoriented and can't function. I think today is going to be a little better...I hope.

Well today is the first day back to school for my little guys! They look so cute all dressed in their school uniforms. Vance is now in third grade and Gannon is now in first. Oh it makes me sad just to think about it. My time with them this summer just flew by. And now they are both in school all day...what is mom to do. I'm sure I'll adjust just fine but my heart is sad today...

Today our family is packing a picnic lunch and are off to Half Moon Bay!

I just want to sit and take my mind off work one last day before the mad rush begins. Don't get me wrong I love my job! I wouldn't even consider it a job, its more like playing all day to me. But with school starting back, football, and the mad rush for the completion of our fall line I just need a day to relax with the family and think of all the summer fun we have had.

You gotta love them! We have been working hard this last week to meet our fall deadline, hence the neglected blog. The collection is almost ready to be sent off to our lovely photographers. My poor husband has been working like crazy this last week to meet his Monday deadline for work...we even had to cancel his birthday party that we had planned for today so he could work.

How sweet is little Olivia! Her mommy was the winner of our June giveaway.
She took her adorable family over to her favorite local photographer to have their photos done.

Here are a few of the photos I have been meaning to share with you from our vacation. What an amazing view we had from our cabin up at Flathead Lake.

We have introduced the boys to tennis this last week and they love it. The courts are just down the street from our house so we just walk over and play for a couple of hours. We are far from professional but it is definitely fun for the entire family.

The long drive...

Are we there yet??

We are on day two of our road trip and the drive isn't that bad. Between the beautiful scenery, DS games, and this laptop we have all been entertained. I am using my time in the car to catch up on emails and sleep:)

It has been kind of nice to take a break from the sewing machine...this past week I was pretty much locked away in the studio working on our wholesale orders. We just received a shipment of fabric for our Holiday Collection...It is absolutely adorable!! Our Fall Line is still a work in progress as we have had a few delays but when it is finally completed it will be fabulous!

Yeah we just crossed the Montana State line...we're almost there!

Road Trip...

It's almost time...for two things! First if you haven't entered to win our giveaway click here and enter. There is only a few days left and you won't want to miss out! Second I am getting ready for a road trip. I am so excited we are leaving Friday to head up to Montana.

Yes this California girl is originally from Montana and it has been about eight years since I've seen many of my loved ones. We are staying in a beautiful cabin up at Flathead Lake. The living room and dining area features 500 square feet of glass with a fabulous picturesque view of the lake, dock, beach, and Wild Horse Island, a National Wildlife Reserve.

I will have Internet access and will be checking my emails while away. All orders placed during this time will still be processed and shipped as usual. Speaking of emails...we are currently having some issues with our email and are working on this problem. If you have emailed us within the last week and haven't got a response it's because we never received it. We always respond within 24 hours of receiving it so please try again.

So it's been a while since our last post and I wanted to give you a little update of what's going on. We have been extremely busy answering emails and filling orders. Thanks to all of our fabulous customers that made our SALE such a huge success!

What a weekend...

It has been insanely busy around...hence the neglected blog. Between the orders and responding to the emails, which I'm almost caught up on. I did manage to take time out today to spend time with the family swimming and enjoying a barbecue in this 100 degree California heat.

I hope all the Mamas had a great Mother's Day! I sure did...my handmade gifts from my boys were adorable and my nap heavenly. Okay so enough about me lets get onto the fashion show...

Here are a few shots that were taken by my wonderful friend Courtney.

She was so sweet to take time out of her busy day to come down to our event and try and get some photos of the girls. Courtney is from Lodi and is just getting her photography business started. Check out her website to see more of her wonderful work, pricing and availability!

I think some of the girls didn't want to get out on that stage without there mom which was totally understandable. Thank you girls for being our models! Oh and the darling hair bows they are wearing are handmade by PS Bows.

We also had mommy and me yoga, children's poetry and karate out on the stage. It was a great event enjoyed by all!

What a busy week it has been! I just got back from a meeting regarding our Celebrate Mama event that is this Saturday and I am so excited about all that will be going on that day! A lot of fun activities for the little ones, yummy food and of course shopping for the Mamas!

We were getting a little worried because just as soon as we got everything set up it started to pour down rain...some vendors even packed up and left. We didn't let the rain scare us off and I'm glad it didn't. It finally let up about 10am and the crowd came. We met so many wonderful people and had a great time!

Our website is back up for those who don't already know. We still have new pieces coming so keep watch for those!

We are now preparing for our Celebrate Mama event that is this Saturday! The weather is suppose to be very nice that day so we are so excited! Oh and something exciting to share with you...We will be participating in the entertainment for that day! We have teamed up with PS Bows and are doing a fashion show at 2:30 the day of the event! The girls will be wearing Dolce Baci clothing and PS hair bows...how cute is that! I will definitely get some photos of that to share with you all.

We will also post information later this week about our Online Sale and a new giveaway that we will be doing! I think you will like this one...there will be more than one winner! So get ready...

...and oh so sweet!

I came across the sweetest fabric at a local antique shop downtown and it is perfect for a new summer dress we are working on. It will be a Limited Edition since our chances of coming across that same fabric is highly unlikely. I will give you a hint...it is a beautiful floral print on a nice summer yellow and we are pairing it with pink of course. This one may not make it to our website if it sells out Sunday....sorry guys. Well I'm off to finish up a few pieces and then off to bed I go.

Starbucks Baby!

I didn't realize Starbucks first store was opened back in 1971...

When my favorite coffeehouse called House of Coffee's isn't open I head over to the fabulous Starbucks.

I had to pick up something yummy to drink while I work on all these new dresses, skirts, tops, and capris. If you haven't tried Starbucks Tuxedo drink you should...it is yummy. I just wanted to stop in and say hello! We will give you another sneak peek tomorrow...you won't want to miss it! Now it's back to work...if you want to call it that.

Okay so I received these photos from Shannon last night at about 11:00 pm and when I saw them I wanted to scream...they are so stinkin CUTE!
